We can’t add all the 8.7 million species that exist on Earth( ) with interactions, textures, rendering, and all working fast with less phisical memory.

On the second thought, this is just a game. But slow down a bit! Do we really need all of the new animals? I’m not saying that new animals will not be a good idea. Also thing how slow will the game run with thousands of animals in the same chunk. But please consider that all that animals need a texture, need rendering, need ways to interact with players and other animals( I am a proggramer). I don’t want anyone to feel offfended, but where are we going with suggestions? Some of them like seasons, rainbows, sickness/poisoning are really good. Sinking mud: A challenging feature for survival players. More warm clothing: Again, do I need to say anything? Free movement animasjon: As soon we get in the deep water, you could animate the character like it’s swimming. Breeding: I need to make an leather/fur farm. And others like cattle, ostrich and boar to become livestocks. Taming: We could tame wolves and coyotes as dogs. Bees: They are very important, they can produce honey that can be edible and can be used for medicine for survival. Fruits/Vegetables: Because I don’t think you can survive in the wild by just eating meat, pumpkin and eggs. I think it’s perfectly okay to include them in the same category. – Seashells: Now that we have starfish and urchin which doesn’t move or anything. Anyway, here’s the features I want to see in the future. Hi, I am new here I have been following this blog a while and I think it’s time for me to join in. I think no one has read my comment so I just leave a copy. maybe we can back off online multiplayer a bit and be happy with what we have and what we know were getting :) this split screen I think is could be a test to see who plays it and how much they enjoy it, and then he will take those results to decide if people would pay for him hosting their servers. but until he takes that big investment in something that has a slight chance of backfire, we won’t be getting it. I think if he had a good running company with multiple people and computers (aka office locations and employees and stuff), we would already have it. in that case, he would be forced to make us pay for servers so he could pay for those expensive computers at least. but if he did that, think about it, he would have to have a few mega fast computers that were always running with fluid coolers so that he could host all the servers thousands would create. the thing is, with servers, it is suggested that if you own a server you have a fast running computer, because you have to host that server, but I think possibly kaalus would not want to make us pay for servers, so he could beat Minecraft more.
SURVIVAL CRAFT 2 PLAYER CODE
the code of multiplayer itself is actually pretty easy, but maybe he just doesn’t really want to have to maintain those servers. its actually a little more complicated than people think though. This is what im kinda thinking about why online multiplayer isnt here yet. Remember the funky thing you still cannot figure out? There’s a lot more to it now :-) Next time I’ll show you some of the survival goodies coming up. When’s the release? My todo list for 2.1 is down to 11 items from 16 at the last post. Plenty of different layouts are available: You also need to decide how you want your screen split up: You can add or remove players at any time:

At least once you get used to gamepad controls :-)Īnyway, here’s some UI screenshots. We’ve played the split screen with my kids for many, many hours now, and it’s an absolute blast. The advantage is that you are right next to each other, not in different rooms or even countries, and so cooperation comes very easily.

Network multiplayer would be ideal and is obviously a long awaited feature, but make no mistake, split screen might at times be just as good if not better. I will stress this again – this is not yet a true network multiplayer, but split screen multiplayer on a single device. The biggest feature of 2.1 will no doubt be ability to have multiple players in the game.
